Can you go all day without saying 'Good Job!'?

I know I can't. I have read a lot of articles on the subject of parenting becoming their kids best friends, being totally supportive of everything, and always being there to pick them up before they can even start crying. I can say I do this and I see a lot of it going on around me. I am going to make a point of letting my kids play by themselves, fall down and figure out how much it actually hurts, and let them experience some failure. It is a lot better to have this happen now instead of at a job interview. Here is an interesting article on the subject.
